I have always thought that stories should play a major part in a child's upbringing and, thankfully, my son really enjoys books but he's not yet at the stage where he'll sit still enough for a long, engrossing tale. As a result, the books that are the biggest hits are those which are either interactive or short with good illustrations. Finding short books that are engaging has proved remarkably hard and I really struggled to find a good "going to bed" book to help my son understand about going to sleep and winding down for the night.
