time of year, is not too expensive and won t need batteries! Well done little bear is another lovely book written by one of my favourite children s authors, Martin Waddell. As with all my children s book reviews I like to tell the story so you can decide if the book is suitable for the child. The story. Little bear lives with big bear. Well Done, Little Bear is another book in the delightful Little Bear Series written by Martin Waddell and illustrated by Barbara Firth. If children have read some of the other books they will be quite familiar with the characters of Little Bear and Big Bear and the wonderful relationship they have with each other. However, if they have not read any of the others, it does not matter as each story stands alone in its own right. All of the books do start in the same way though with exactly the same words: Once there were two bears, Big Bear and Little Bear. Big bear is the big bear and Littke Bear is the little bear. One day..... I think this is lovely for young ...

copies to be found on various sites, and as ever I always check out amazon, where copies can be bought from £1.00 OTHER BOOKS BY THE SAME AUTHOR Martin Waddell is quite a prolific story writer. Other books include: You and Me Little Bear Who Do You Love? Webster J. Duck Tom Rabbit What Use is A Moose Once there were giants VERDICT A great book to read if you want to get away from stereotypes, and the princesses in pink lacey dresses, which sometimes I feel I must. I like the fact that Rosamund seems in charge of her own destiny and is not going to wait around for someone to marry her off. She does meet lots of handsome, wealthy princes along the way but she doesn ...
