I have been a big WWE and wrestling fan since i was a young child. From the age of eight or nine, i would sit watching it on the tv completely engrossed. I love it and have even been lucky enough to go to two Wrestlemania shows in America and have been to over twenty house shows and a few pay per views. A lot of people think its weird when they find out i like wrestling just because im a female - so annoying! There are a lot of wrestlers i absolutley love and one of these is the amazing Chris Jericho. When i heard that this book was coming out, i couldnt wait to get it and waited patiently for months on its release. I ... Read the complete review

Chris Jericho's: A lions tale a biography written by the WWE's first ever Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion, the 'sexy beast', 'the Ayatolla of rock and rolla', that is Y2J Chris Jericho. I waited for a about 6 months to get my hands on this book. When i was younger I was a bit of a wrestling fanatic along with millions of other people. This was a man i grew up with having on my tv, along with people like the Rock and Mick Foley. The book can be acquire for a reasonable price on Amazon but at much cheaper rates on ebay. He goes into enormous detail about his childhood, his schools and his athletic pastimes such as hockey and amateur wrestling. ... Read the complete review

A Lions Tale: Chris Jericho is the story of a young boy from Canada who wanted to make it big in the world of professional wrestling. The book covers a lot of the build-up to his WWE debut by focusing mainly on his journey through Canada, Mexico and Germany before finally reaching his goal of wrestling in America. The story itself is very interesting as it covers his thoughts on fellow wrestlers most notably the Hart Family and Lance Storm. Unlike other books "written" by sporting superstars this book does come across like it the words were being said by the man himself. No details are spared and even include stories that others would ... Read the complete review

A Lions Tale is the first in a proposed series of auto biographies from WWE star Chris Jericho. This book covers his earlier career putting much focus on his stints in Mexico, Japan, and Germany as well as his rising through the ranks of the American and Canadian independent scene and eventually his careers in ECW and WCW that initially brought him to the attention of the mainstream American Wrestling audience. Some may be put off here by the lack of stories from his WWE tenure but don't be. This book is written with a wit and charm that sheds some interesting and amusing light on the wrestling business and some of the more colorful characters ... Read the complete review
