I thought I had got a bargain with this book, picking it up for 20p at the school fair. That was until my sister saw it and informed me that this book 'A new house for mouse' was in fact one that parents were given free as part of the 2008 bookstart scheme. However, amazon are selling it for just over £5 so this eased my annoyance. Anyhow, this story by Petr Horacek, is defined as a 'peep through story book'. The blurb at the back says ' How can mouse fit a huge apple into her tiny house?' Children are asked to peep through the holes of new houses and help the mouse to search for somewhere to live.
