I've always been surrounded by books as both my parents were avid readers & my love of reading has, fortunately, been passed on to both my daughters. Although both grown up now (18 & 22) & having their own massive book collections I kept a few treasured ones which they had when they were young because of the happy memories they hold. Jill Murphy writes lots of books for children I found this in the charity shop in good condition for 10p r,r,p £4.99.When I see a good book for Adrian’s library in the charity shop I buy it. . The theme of this book is mother elephant thinking she is fat and going on a diet. Lots of children will experience their mothers dieting so they will relate to the theme in this book. Now my daughter has officially gone part time Nursery, I'm being bombarded with reading books. Not that I'm complaining. I love reading to both my daughters. Where Jess is bringing home books, its broadening the library that we have already got for her.
