I picked this book from the supermarket as it was on offer. I'm not very familiar with Isabel Wolff as an author as I have never read any of her books before. After this reading this one though, I can safely say that I am a new fan! *** What Is It About?*** The main character is Laura. After her husband mysteriously vanishes one day, she takes a job compiling questions for quizzes as an addition to her main job so that she can pay the expensive mortgage on their house. This leads to a television presenting job on a quiz show that is snapped up by one of the big television companies. The story centres on Laura as she struggles to deal with her sudden fame ...
