I started trying to read this book a few months and was surprised to find that, having read the first few pages, I just didn't feel motivated to continue. Usually I love Douglas Kennedy's novels and can't put them down until I've read them from cover to cover. However, when I finally made a second attempt on this one yesterday, exactly the same thing happened, and by midnight last night I'd finished it. In a way this is disappointing, as it's always a shame when a great book comes to an end, but I love reading books that are so addictive.
