present for my nan, it was on special offer at asda costing just £1.00. On getting it home and on further inspection, I noticed it was by Barbara Taylor Bradford, I have read some of her books in the past and have absolutely loved them so decided to keep it for myself. The general jist of the story is this - The book is centred around the character of Katie Byrne. It starts off when she is seventeen years old, her and her best friends Denise and Carly are avid amateur actors and talk of nothing but how, once they leave school, they are all going onto an acting college in New York.
