Beautiful prose, vivid and realistic characters, engaging plot, dramatic climax Start might be a bit slow for some readers

Fantastic characters, great style, compelling reading. Not suitable for everyone.

Intricate plot that is unputdownable It can be unputdownable

Sincere Too sincere perhaps

Very cleverly written, well-researched and laugh-out-loud funny Faintly depressing in parts; the Chuckle Brothers feature a bit to prominently!

enjoyable, entertaining, one great character not terribly original, one character impossible to like
