I picked up this book because of the interesting cover, but once you begin reading, its not just the cover that should get you excited. Oppel does a fantastic job in creating a marvelous story in so many ways. We read of Matt Cruse, who is working on a small airship, who aspires to be great like his father who died. He was born in the air a feel a connection with it, and does not like being on land. However, he has to work for his family as they are poor.
