I picked up this book because of the interesting cover, but once you begin reading, its not just the cover that should get you excited. Oppel does a fantastic job in creating a marvelous story in so many ways. We read of Matt Cruse, who is working on a small airship, who aspires to be great like his father who died. He was born in the air a feel a connection with it, and does not like being on land. However, he has to work for his family as they are poor. The ship he works on one time goes on a cruise but enters havock and wrecks on a tropical island... what will they do? He and Kate, a young female passenger he meets will have to save the ...
