Aliens love your undies (Aliens Love Underpants - Claire Freedman)
Member Name: festactown
Advantages: Bright, funny and beautifully illustrated Disadvantages: None My four year old son was given this book by Claire Freedman (and illustrated by Ben Cort) for his birthday and it has become a firm favorite in our house. It's a funny and delightful story of aliens, which lacking their own underpants visit earth to pinch some of ours. The Illustrations are bold and bright and have a great deal of detail. The aliens are colourful and come in all shapes and sizes. Ben Cort has done an excellent job in making the story come alive. The writing is in large font and there is an easy rhymthic pattern to the words which children will find easy to follow and a good opportunity to introduce and reinforce rhyme to children aged between 3 and 5 years. It's refers to colour all the way through and would help reinforce any learning in this area. This is an award winning book - it was the Winner of the Richard and Judy 5+ children's book group and is well worth the money (£3.68 on amazon) Summary: Highly Recommended for 3-5 yrs |
