Definitely worth a read (Allies of the Night - Darren Shan)

In my review of Darren Shan and the Allies of the Night I will not contain any spoilers of the book but I may write a few hints in and I will write about the first book in the series as it is necessary for you to understand as to what is happening. For this reason I would suggest you not reading this review if you are going to read the first book and want everything which happens in Darren Shan: Cirque Du Freak to be a surprise I would recommend you not to read the rest of the review.

In the first book Darren Shan and his best friend Steve go to circus and Darren is amazed about a spider which does tricks. So later on that night he steals the spider. When showing the spider to Steve though this poisonous spider bites Steve. Steve is then taken to hospital and looks as if he is dying. Darren then makes a deal with the spider owner. Steve will get cured...if Darren becomes a vampire! Darren goes ahead with the deal and then has to fake his death as he can't continue living normal life as he has so much more strength he could kill his mother while hugging her.
Darren Shan and the allies of the night is a thrilling book and the eigth of the twelve part Darren Shan series. In this book many old faces return such as Steve,Debbie Rv and many more at a familiar place. Mr Crepsley's home town. History seems to be repeating itself but this time the police might be involved. And will they believe of vampires after seeing Harkat the "little person" In my opinion this book is very exciting and its finale at the end is heart stopping. But I will hint at the death of a major character. The Vampaneze Lord perhaps?
