I picked this book up mostly on the basis that its writer Peter Morville co-authored one of the best books on web site design I've ever read, 'Information Architecture for the WWW'. However using terms like ‘information architecture’ immediately makes one sound like a prat so I’m pleased Morville has adopted the typically American trait of reducing a high falutin concept down to an easy to understand (and catchy) phrase. Making stuff easier to find = findability. I also quite like the other American trait of then going on to sell and market this concept via as many mediums as possible.
