Advantages: once into it, hard to put down

Disadvantages: chapters on phil collins etc

came highly recommended to me this book, by people whose opinions i'dd always trusted. for the first few chapters i wasn't enamoured. the detailed descriptions of colleagues clothing and hygiene rituals were tedious. then suddenly i was hooked. all the previous detail had given me an insight into what a f***** up man patrick bateman is. thing is, i couldnt help liking him. the chapters describing the music of phil collins, whitney houston and huey lewis are superfluos but the rest is gripping. parts of the book will leave you cold with disgust, it only adds to the overall effect. anyway, best be off, i have to return some videotapes.
