Bateman rules (American Psycho - Bret Easton Ellis)

Advantages: A superb read Disadvantages: You need a strong stomach
I saw the film of American Psycho and thought it was superb, having always previously found that "the book is always better than the film" I had to buy the book immediately! Once again it was true - the book is truly a masterpiece, both as a work of fiction and as social comment. Patrick Bateman is both a hero and an anti-hero for our times, he is both the sickest and the most appealing character ever and if you are very good and buy some more of Mr Easton Ellis's books you may meet him again (albeit briefly!), I am not going to give the name of the other book away as it would spoil it for you.
