Advantages: Amazingly interesting...

Disadvantages: None

In this very well written book, the author, who is herself able to diagnose illness by intuitive means, sets our a unique program specifically designed to promote spontaneous physical, emotional and spiritual healing. It’s quite funny, because I first heard of Caroline Myss watching the Oprah Winfrey show. She was a guest and it was really quite amazing. She is well known in the medical field in the States, being consulted by many conventional doctors and there is nothing “mystical” about her.

In the book she explores the links between spiritual and emotional stresses and the specific illnesses that they create in different parts of the human energy system. Dr. Myss also presents her model of the body’s seven centers of spiritual and physical power which is based on the ancient wisdom of three spiritual traditions – Hindu Chakras, Christian sacraments and the Kabbalah’s Tree of Life. With this model she shows you how you can develop your own powers of intuition as you also develop your personal power and spiritual maturity.

This is a subject that was new to me and I found very interesting. She does not claim to have any special powers and believes that we all can intuitively heal and protect ourselves from illness with a little practice. You will see your body in a whole new way.

This certainly gets you thinking! Life's usually moving along at such a fast pace that we're usually thinking outward instead of inwards. I like the thought of this!
