Angel is a fiction novel written by Katie Price. The book was released in the summer of 2006. Angel was ghost written by an author named Rebecca Farnworth. In the first six weeks, 300,000 copies of Angel were sold.
She also released another novel after this one called Crystal , released in 2007.

Katrina Amy Alexandria Alexis Infield was born on May 22nd 1978 (she will be 30 in a couple of days) , in Brighton. She changed her name to simply Katie Price. She is also known as the glamour model , Jordan , however after appearing on the ITV television series I'm A Celebrity : Get Me Out Of Here , she became more publicly known as
herself ; Katie Price and Jordan is now considered a separate character. Katie is married to the pop star Peter Andre whom she met on I'm a celebrity. Together they have a son Junior and baby girl, Princess Tiiammi. Katie also has a son named Harvey with the footballer Dwight York. Katie is a successful business women ; She has her modelling career , Reality Tv Series (Katie and Peter ; The Next Chapter) , Chat show (Katie and Peter ; Unleashed) , Fragrance (Stunning), autobiographies (Being Jordan , Jordan; The Next Chapter) , novels (Angel , Crystal) , children's books , lingerie range , jewellery range (available at Argos), Fitness Video , Album , Calendar...etc.
Last year Katie won the mum of the year award. She currently lives in Surrey with her husband and three children.

* Angel *
The version of Angel I am reviewing is the paperback. I borrowed this book from my friend , however she kindly informed me that this book cost £6.99 from W H Smith.

The cover of Angel is simple yet effective. It consists of the top 2/3 of the cover a pink background and 1/3 of the bottom half in pink. There is a photo of a model posing on the front. 'Katie Price' (silver and in words) takes up half of the pink background. ' Angel' is written on the bottom half of the book in silver. At the bottom of the book reads 'The irresistible debut novel by bestselling phenomenon Jordan' . This just has to be good doesn't it ?
As I open the cover I see a photograph of Jordan in a 'glamour model pose' looking at the camera , upside down.
* The Story *
Angel follows a girl named Angel who is a normal girl. However when a model agent discovers Angel , her life changes forever. The public like her , she is famous , she has money and is dating a boy band member. Surely this is all too good to be true ?

* My Opinion *
I loved this book. It was so addictive and I read it in three days. I just couldn't put it down. If you like romance , are a fan of Jordan's and interested in the world of celebrities then you will definitely like this book. One thing I disliked about this book , although it was a good read , I found it extremely similar to Jordan's own story such as Angel lives in Brighton (Jordan did too!) , Angel dates a guy from a boy band (Jordan dated Dane Bowers) , just simple things like that that made the story predictable, it didn't stop me reading it though. I give this book an 8/10.
