 Angellina Ballerina's Invitation to the Ballet - Katharine Holabird ... she wins two tickets to the gala performance of Cindermouse...and then her disappointment as friend after friend has received an invitation to something else that day. At the last minute, however, Angelina is called by the Royal Ballet's director to fill in for an injured ballerina and she gives her two tickets to her parents. There are six envelopes in all with cards and letters to open up and read as well as a special lucky star pendant in the last envelope.Newest Review: ... this story to her you can see her become absorbed into the book. ~~~THE STORY~~~
The story,(in a nutshell), starts with Angelina winning tickets to the "Cindermouse", ballet, she spends the story trying to decide who she will take with her. Will she go or will she be part of the entertainment!!!!
On every page the story is elaborated and added to with a letter or invitation for the child reader to take out and read.

I wanted to write a review on this Angelina Ballerina book due to the fact it is such an interesting and interactive book. I bought this book for my daughter as a treat,(she is doing exceptionally well at school and very cleverly persuaded me to get reward her accordingly!!!). . ~~~THE BOOK~~~ The book is a lovely combination of storybook and interactive storytelling. The story (as always), is beautifully written, almost in the style of a child, if Angelina is upset or happy you can feel the emotion coming off the page at you. Watching the expression on my six year old daughters face makes or breaks a story for me, and as i read this ... Read the complete review
