The illustrations which accompany this show chimneys and church spires being blown off, and a very anry Arthur walking past a post box which has fallen over. One interesting thing here which children often point out is the large advert for cigarettes being hurled through the sky, and so follows a conversation about the effects of smoking!

A great story about a little boy, who is very angry, and looking at the front cover, he does indeed look extremely angry...there he is with furrowed brow and the lightening flashing across the sky behind him. Whenever I read this to children, we have a really good idea of what to expect just by looking at and talking about the front cover.
