The book is about Mandy Hope, daughter of two vets. She has to track down two baby rabbits which were sold in a shop which her friend badly wanted, but will she find them? And if she does, will all turn out as she hoped?
This plot is quite unusual. I think that it is quite morally wrong, as if somebody bought the rabbits first, then that's it. Since I was tiny I have adored animals. So when I discovered the delights of the Animal Ark books, written by author Lucy Daniels, I simply had to have them all! One I had in my collection was Bunnies in the Bathroom. The first thing you notice with a book is the cover so it is important that it makes a good first impression. Thankfully this one does. There is a picture of two bunnies snuggled up together, a cosy and warming image. They are in a room that looks white and pale, making them stand out more which suggests the attention is on them.
