Lucy Daniels is an amazing author who wrote the childrens collection of books called Animal Ark - a series about Mandy Hope, daughter of vets, and her love for animals. One of the books in the series is Lion by the Lake. Cover: A cover is the first thing you see with a book so it is important that it draws you in. Personally, I feel that this one does do just that. There is a picture of a lion cub staring out at you with its little eyes. You can almost see the tears leaking out of his eyes. It melts your heart, drawing you in instantly.
