Plot:
Mandy falls in love with a horse, and when she finds out that it is in danger by its snotty owner, the decides she must try and help the horse. But can she save him before its too late?
I think this is quite a nice little plot. It is full of adventure and action, but is not too busy either. This makes it ideal for younger children as it does not get overly complicated. Lucy Daniels is an amazing author who wrote the childrens collection of books called Animal Ark - a series about Mandy Hope, daughter of vets, and her love for animals. One of the books in the series is Pony in the Porch. Cover: A cover is the first thing you see with a book so it is important that it draws you in. Personally, I feel that this one does do just that.
