The book is about Mandy and her best friend James. When they are at school a family of squirrels start causing trouble and while they win the 'awws' of some, they are mainly causing more bother than gaining admiration. Mandy and James have to find somewhere for them to go before they ruin things completely...

From an early age I have been an avid reader. I used to love a lot of 'collections' as a child, such as Mr Men and Little Miss, Two of a Kind, and of course the Animal Ark series. These amazing books written by Lucy Daniels is a collection about an animal lover named Mandy Hope. One of the titles is Squirrels in the School. The cover of the book is very important, I feel, as it is when we make our first impressions. I personally think that this particular book has quite an amusing cover.
