Nope, this isn't a rambling about Absinthe ;) In fact, I really didn't want to read this book, as it is the follow-up to one of the most brilliant books I've ever read - 'The Forge of God' by Greg Bear! (Now guess who suggested these books to DooYoo... Hmmm... ;) ) I just didn't think that anything could possibly match up to the epic, thrilling novel about the 'Planet Eaters' - after all, Earth had been destroyed at the end of 'Forge of God', and most of the book's characters were rather dead.
