I don’t know how popular I’ll be for saying this but what the heck; I don’t worry too much about that anyway. I have no interest in politics, scandals, what a writer has done in his past or what he does in the future. I just like to read books, good ones if possible and I have found that Jeffrey Archer is a pretty safe bet as far as my tastes go. His books are usually long, which I don’t mind, there’s no hurry to get to the end of a good story. As the title suggests, my quest is continuing to research my favourite authors and then wow you or bore you with my new found knowledge. Jeffrey Archer was born on April 15th 1940, to a soldier called William, and a journalist Lola. He was educated at Wellington School and Brasenose College, Oxford, where he gained a certificate in education. In 1969 he became the youngest member of the House of Commons, where he served until 1974. In the same year, after making a bad decision regarding investments, he lost all of his money, and this was the experiece that he based his firt novel, "Not A Penny More, Not A Penny Less" on. He ...
