I recently went back to college with the mind to have a complete change in career. A little unsure what direction I wanted to go in, but fairly certain it would be within the health and social care field, I chose an access course, with one module being social welfare. While at my local library collecting books for an assignment I noticed amongst all the huge textbooks this little book of memoirs written by a social worker. As it's a profession that has intrigued and interested me, and had me curious if it was one I could do, I checked the book out.
