When I recently watched and reviewed 'View From The Top' (minimally promoted film with Gwyneth Paltrow and Mike Myers in) it prompted me to dig out this book for a re-read. Like the film, this book is about the life of an air hostess flying domestic American and long haul flights. Rene Foss, the author, is an air hostess turned entertainer, and performs in a musical she wrote herself which looks at the wild and wacky world of flight attending. This spurred the book I'm telling you about which is a sort of memoir/dummies' guide to air hostessing. This book is pre-September 11th look at the grime behind the glamour.
