Advantages: Good plots and schemes, well written, some crazy battles

Disadvantages: I have read it all already!!!!

Artemis Fowl: The Lost Colony is the latest of Eoin Colfer's successful line of books. The stories so far have been about a young boy named Artemis Fowl, who is a chid genius and one of the most intelligent people in the world, he has the highest IQ in Europe. Artemis has had dealings with fairies who live underground, taking their gold but helping them as well.

This new story is about a group or species of fairy who did not want to be forced underground by humans like the other fairies, instead they froze themselves in time to prevent anyone attacking them. But now demons are popping up everywhere. Together Artemis and the fairies, one in particular, Holly Short, have to fight together to prevent Demons from crashing back to earth altogether.

This new installment in is my opinion extremely well written, and is a great read. It combines many brilliant schemes and plots concocted by Artemis with Blood bath battles that normally have Holly Short in the midst of them. This is a stunning page turner that becomes addictive. If you have read the other books definitely read this one, but if not, I suggest you start from the beginning, it's worth it.
