 ... inevitable avalanche. There is nice descriptive detail of all the places involved and of all the characters. I did really like how the author wrote the links between most of the characters. It helped to build a great community feel. For a non-skier and someone who has never ventured near the alps there is enough technical detail to make me think he knows what he is talking about.
