Harlan Corben is a great writer of thriller, suspense novels and this book is an excellent one that features a regular character of Corbens, Myron Bolitar a New York based head of a sports agency, Myron acts as agent for a number of top sports stars. He also has a knack for sorting out peoples problems and this ability gets him into trouble every so often and this is when his best friend Win helps him out as Win is fantastically rich but also a cold blooded killer. This is the second book that I have read by Coben that features the character Myron Bolitar. The rather unusual name comes from his Jewish background and after a basketball career cut short in the first year of being drafted due to a career ending injury Bolitar runs a sports agency called MB SportsReps based in New York along with his former college room mate Win Lock-Horne and Esperanza Diaz. Diaz is a former female wrestler whilst Win is the most interesting character of the three coming from a privileged and very wealthy white background he is also a complete psychopath and prone to using extreme violence whenever he feels it necessary.
