This book is hilarious, yet it also manages to be quite serious and poignant. While this book was never going to be very elegantly written (despite the fact that the words "With Tim Keown" appear in small print beneath the author's name on the cover, suggesting the involvement of a ghost-writer), I was surprised to find that it did interest and entertain me. The book begins with Rodman telling his tale of one night in 1993 when he came close to killing himself, and from that point the reader is taken on a guided tour of Rodman's life and NBA career so far, only the guide himself isn't sure of the way.
