I can't say that I know Miss Bagshawe personnally but having read two of her books, I think I know her reading style pretty well. In the opening pages of her books it explains how she worked with rock groups before going on to become an authour and this influence is clearly reflected in her writing of the two books i've read. One of the characters in her first book, Career Girls, works with a rock band and one of the characters in her second book, The Movie, is in a rock group.
