Advantages: Good stories, interesting plots, interesting characters

Disadvantages: Only one new book a year

I stumbled upon David Baldacci's first book, Absolute Power, in an airport bookshop a couple of years ago and spent my first 2 days of holiday with my nose buried in it, I couldn't put it down till I'd reached the last page. Ever since, I've bought every single one of his books the minute they've been released for sale in the UK and I'm eagerly awaiting the next one. With all the hype that surrounds every new John Grisham book, I simply can't believe how Baldacci's books go by almost without mention. The stories and the plots are far more interesting than anything Grisham has come up with in the last 5 or 6 years (and believe it or not, I'm a Grisham fan too) and the characters are so much more likeable and believable. If I had to choose one book to recommend it would probably be Saving Faith, or Absolute Power (the book is a million times better than the film by the way), or Total Control... Well the Winner and the Simple Truth are brilliant as well. Buy his books now, you won't be disappointed!!!

Hi, just thought you could write a little bit more about some of his books or his writing style in general, which might entice people in to reading his books! Emma x

It's been a while since I bought a book from an airport I always buy my reading stock before I go. I'll keep an eye out for Baldacci. Thanks.
