He looks at the mundane world most of us inhabit, and sees goddesses, monsters, horrors and beauty. I wish that I could have seen whatever it is that has inspired this man. His work mixes conventional reality with high fantasy and horror in varrying proportions. He has the capacity for graphic ... more

I remember when I was young, my father reading a book with a stunning cover, filled with mystery. I wanted him to read the book to me, he said I wouldn't like it, but instead he told me the tale of a magical land trapped in a carpet. He started his career writing and perfoming in his own ...  Read the complete review

His range extends from more fantastical storylines - Everville - to everyday life with a twist - Gallilee - to the downright gruesome - Hellraiser. There's some fantasy with wild impossible beasts with wings living in lands of magic and carpets - Weaveworld, one of my most favourite - that look like ordinary floor furniture when rolled up but actually contain a whole land full of fantastical people when laid out, there are seemingly ordinary people living extraordinary lives ...  Read the complete review
