Bart Simpson, The Kid that no father wants to be their son, has written a book which is in his words is ' The long but worthwhile journey to enlightenment' and it has to be said that enlightenment is probably the wrong word but the book is certainly hilarious and is sure to make any Simpson's fan laugh their heads off. Bart Simpson's Guide to life is basically how Bart sees life and he offers advice on how to cope with certain compromising situations that any young boy may encounter. The book is split into 16 different chapters and for this reason I am going to keep the review of each chapter short and sweet but I'm sure you will get the gist of what the book ... The official Simpsons Comics are pretty awful. With dull, complicated and obtuse storylines, a scarcity of jokes and clearly little to no input by the show's writers, its quite hard to see how they could appeal to adults or children, to be honest. Thankfully, 'Bart Simpson's Guide to Life' manages to retain much of the original show's humour, and is colourful, light-hearted, consistently mischievous and easy to read. Basically offering Bart's world philosophy, the book presents Bart's attitudes and opinions on a number of topics including school, food, work and money, art, science, culture, parents, law and order, religion, animals and psychology, with a ... Growing up I was always a massive fan of The Simpsons and it was on a Christmas morning I opened up my stocking to find that Santa had brought me this book. This book is honestly the most adventurous, creative, randomly funniest thing I have ever read. Page after page is purely mayhem whether it being a list of different donuts homer simpson eats, 25 cools things to be when you grow up, a quiz on how to stay up past your bed time, how to read body language, where babies come from, a list of monsters, a list of annoying things to say to your sunday school teacher and even a page on bart simpsons 'dream bedroom'. Every one of the 180 pages is filled with clever ... Read the complete review

Bart Simpsons Guide to Life is the ultimate guide. It is one of the best of the Simpsons range of books. This has over 100 pages but is the sort of book that you don’t read page-by-page; you just flick through it with a random page each time. If you are an artistic kind of person or just like to draw the Simpsons, this may well be the book for you. This book is fairly pricey but is a book that you can read, trace the pictures and has some pages which are really awesome (like ‘Bart’s dream bedroom’, which is full of electronic tattoo machines, 24hr Krusty the Clown on a massive TV, and robots who look exactly like Homer and Lisa, ...
