Batavia's Graveyard: The True Story Of The Mad Heretic Who Led History's Bloodiest Mutiny - Mike Dash ... 2003 (New Edition). / The book is the remarkable true story, of the Dutch ship, Batavia, which struck an uncharted reef off the coast of Australia in 1629, with 332 men, women and children on board. While some headed off in a lifeboat to seek help, 250 of the survivors ended up on a tiny coral island less than half a mile long.
