To be honest, I think was an excuse for the artist to draw more lucious and detailed artwork and for that alone this chapter is worth reading. As is the double page spread of the bat Cave in chapter 8.

Volume 2 of Batman Hush picks up from where vol 1 left off. Batman has an as of yet unnamed foe dressed in a trench coat and bandaged face that hides in the shadows orchestrating all of Batman's colourful enemies in a sophisticated game of chess. By this point you'd have to be pretty thick to not know who this person could now possibly be, no matter how many obstacles and red herrings they throw in your way. Not that this is a bad thing, as it's more you wonder why they are doing it. Poorly written, badly drawn, very confusing Wolverine, Electra, vast hoardes of undead ninjas, Captain America and battles galore none-the action roars across the page so fast it leaves scorch marks on your fingertips Hilarious archaic dialogue from the defenders of Blighty. Humour won't be to everyone's taste, particularly those who are easily offended or too sensible.
