reason for this was it was a good very well told story with characters that where likeable and easy to relate to. This is not my first experience of Sarah Harrison s work a few months ago I read The Next Room which I also found a good read, although that lacked the love story this one had, it was more of a suspense mystery. Unusually this novel was written 30 years ago, but only published in 2002. This is one of 28 novels written by this talented British storyteller. It was in my opinion set in a more innocent time, one in which people when they married they stayed married until they died.
