Reading all the 'My Favourite Things' ops to celebrate Jill's 4 years of being cancer-free got me thinking about life, love, death and all those 'big things', and I was drawn back to one of the most-thumbed books on my shelf, 'Before I Say Goodbye' by Ruth Picardie. I was stunned to discover that no-one had written an op on this, so thought I had better get to work, as it is a book I have cried over, laughed over, and returned to on many occasions when I need a little reminder that life and love are fragile, precious things, to be cherished always.
