Being a fan of autobiographies and recently joining the online library readitswapit.co.uk I was longing to get hold of this book and find out who the real person is Katie as she claims she really is or is her personality more of Jordan's? Many people talk about Katie Price in the form of Jordan making out how vile she is for being a Glamour model at such a young age and making offensive comments, I on the other hand wanted to know what made Katie Price become someone like Jordan and had her past created this character that appeared to be so confident and bolshy that no man ever dare hurt her?? Until 3 years ago I was ignorant to who Katie Price was ... Read the complete review

If you’ve ever read a tabloid newspaper or a men’s magazine, you’ll have heard of Jordan. In more recent times, you don’t even need to have done this to have heard of her, thanks to her attempts to represent the UK in 2005’s Eurovision Song Contest and her appearance in the 2004 series of ITV’s “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!” Unfortunately, the hardback version of this book was written before the former and published just after the latter, so it’s the tabloid fans that are best catered for here. I would hope that the paperback version will contain more information on the last 18 months of her life, during which she’s gotten engaged, given birth to ... Read the complete review

Before reading the autobiography of Katie Price (aka ‘Jordan’) entitled, ‘Being Jordan’, I wasn’t sure what my opinion of her was at all. Like many, I’d read the odd piece of gossip about her in the tabloids, and knew my husband would groan deeply every time the famous/infamous glamour model’s name was mentioned. But the first real opportunity I got to form my own opinion was when she entered the TV reality show ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.’ Like most, I guess you can’t help but initially notice her largely inflated bust and skimpy clothing, but what incenses some people towards her, was not immediately obvious. Even after watching the programme for a couple of ... Read the complete review

I quite often like to settle down with a book and of late my chosen titles tend to be autobiographies and the latest of those is the offering by Katie price (Jordan) entitled being Jordan. Now I as most people have a very preconceived image of Jordan in my mind and I am sure this book was meant to change that but I am not sure that it ever did. This book takes you through her life from a young teenager right up to the "I`m A Celebrity" appearance. She talks of her many partners and the rough treatment she suffered at their hands. It would appear that they all loved the thought of being with a glamour model but couldn't live with the line ... Read the complete review

Jordan is definitely someone people love or hate. Until I saw her on TV in ‘I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!’ I didn’t care much for her at all. After watching her budding romance with Peter Andre, I did warm to her more and began to see the differences between Jordan the glamour model and Katie Price the woman. My daughter is nearly thirteen and a fan of Jordan’s, so when she received her first autobiography for her birthday, I asked to borrow it after she had read it (and loved it). I had recently read Jodie Marsh’s autobiography too and thought Jordan’s would be interesting. ‘Being Jordan’ was released in 2004, the paperback (which we have) ... Read the complete review
