Advantages: A decent read with some interesting revelations.

Disadvantages: A bit put on and not really the full truth I feel.

I quite often like to settle down with a book and of late my chosen titles tend to be autobiographies and the latest of those is the offering by Katie price (Jordan) entitled being Jordan.

Now I as most people have a very preconceived image of Jordan in my mind and I am sure this book was meant to change that but I am not sure that it ever did.

This book takes you through her life from a young teenager right up to the "I`m A Celebrity" appearance. She talks of her many partners and the rough treatment she suffered at their hands. It would appear that they all loved the thought of being with a glamour model but couldn't live with the line of work she had to do.

It tells her story of being only 13 and doing her first photo shoot with a guy that turned out to be a Paedophile and how this nearly stopped her from pursuing her dream.

It also tells us that the Jordan persona is only an act that she (Katie Price) turns on to keep up her glamour image but for me the sex tapes she made and her conduct when younger and first making it big would suggest that this in fact was the real Katie Price or Jordan (call her what you like) only now she has grown up and regrets it she is trying to make us believe it was all an act.

The book makes for interesting reading but how close it comes to telling the truth about the girl i am unsure, there is no doubt she has been through a lot but I feel many and much of it was of her own doing and at the end of the day she has made it big from it all.

I would suggest this is a good read for anyone into either Jordan, autobiographies or both and it can be purchased at a very low price these days or of course you could get it from your local library because it is probably not a book you will want to read more than once.

Summary: Worth a read!
