I had never heard of Kevin Brooks before buying this book but I will certainly look at some of his other books now. This is a few years old and one in a quite a big range of books that he has written. This story is about a sixteen year old guy called Robert, he is an orphan living with foster parents. One day he goes to the hospital for a endoscope procedure as they think he has an ulcer. Next thing he knows he is being operated on and he is conscious but can't move. He hears the doctors saying how he is messed up and how he isn't human and we follow him as he goes on the run. I rather enjoyed this book, it's a good page-turner but that is a problem ...
