This Was the first of Adriana Trigiani's books I read and it's because of this book that I now own all of her books!! It's the first in the series 4 books that have a continuing story. It's heartwarming, laugh out loud funny and at times quite sad. I realy love these books and have passed them on to friends and family who have enjoyed them just as much.
I read alot of books and am always giving books away to make room for new ones. Adriana's books are the one's that will always stay on my shelf!
I can also recommend 'Lucia, Lucia', another favorite.

Big Stone Gap. Well, im so glad i was given this book rather than wasting my money! The author just rambles on, theres no real story line. She randomly puts recipes in the middle of the page! For example, they will be eating at a cafe, and the author will put the recipe for the "cafe specials" on the page! Like who cares!!! I want a story not a cook book! If i wanted a cook book, i would have looked under Jamie Oliver or Nigella Lawson etc, not for a supposidly entertaining good read!! Don't buy it unless you want a recipe for cornbread or ... I couldn’t put it down – a real page turner” and then just as I wanted to read more and find out what exactly the novel was about. Whoopi Goldberg was quoted on the back as saying it was one of her favourite novels. I am not so naïve as to think everything endorsed by a ... Read the complete review
