Express Review on Big Stone Gap - Adriana Trigiani

This Was the first of Adriana Trigiani's books I read and it's because of this book that I now own all of her books!! It's the first in the series 4 books that have a continuing story. It's heartwarming, laugh out loud funny and at times quite sad. I realy love these books and have passed them on to friends and family who have enjoyed them just as much.

I read alot of books and am always giving books away to make room for new ones. Adriana's books are the one's that will always stay on my shelf!

I can also recommend 'Lucia, Lucia', another favorite.

I was in my local Waterstones browsing (as I often do) and I happened to pick up “Big Stone Gap” by Adriana Trigiani. There on the front cover was a quote from Sarah Jessica Parker (Sex and the City) describing the book as , “Hilarious, romantic. I couldn’t put it down – a real page turner” and then just as I wanted to read more and find out what exactly the novel was about. Whoopi Goldberg was quoted on the back as saying it was one of her favourite novels. I am not so naïve as to think everything endorsed by a ...  Read the complete review
