I am Ozzy - Ozzy Osbourne:
... I Am Ozzy was bought for me as a birthday present this year by my brother. I am not a fan of any of Ozzy s music and was not that interested in the man himself, but I didn t want to let my brother know this when he gave me the book! I thought it might upset him! All I knew about Ozzy Osbourne was that he was in Black Sabbath and that he and his family had done the reality TV show The Osbourne s , which was somethi... Saturday Night Peter - Peter Kay ... Night Peter is the second book from comedian Peter Kay. You can buy the book for less than £10 on the book people website, or on offers which change frequently at watermans. Also available in most book retailers its just ive seen it cheapest at those two outlets. The first book by Peter Kay i found hillarious, i was constantly laughing out loud. This book was greatly funny just not as funny as the last one, although I would recommend it as its funny!! The story sets off where Peter left us in the last book, he d just won a comic competition. He now goes on to enter many competitions and have sets at comic venues such as the frog and bucket. The ups and downs of... Read the full review: Saturday Night Peter by Beth21 |

Reminder - Dennis Waterman ... I like many people seem to have grown up with Dennis Waterman in my living room (not literally obviously!). During this time he has been a very successful actor in many popular dramas and sitcoms and also one of my favourite actors. So when I noticed his autobiography in the library, I was very keen to read it and find out more about his life, loves and career. ==About the author:== Dennis Waterman was born in South London on 24 February 1948. He was the youngest of nine children in a traditional Cockney working class family. His career has been incredibly successful and he has worked much of it in either the Theatre or Television. In this career he has... Read the full review: Minder and beyond by CPTDANIELS |

Sound of Laughter - Peter Kay ... s a problem with comedians autobiographies, in that you expect them to be really funny. Now, what happens is they either go for a comedy book (like Frankie Boyle s latest), or they accurately tell you about their lives, most of which aren t funny, which is what Peter Kay does. This book tells about Kay s early life, and I have to say it is really hit or miss. Basically the book is easy to read, and you find Kay s got the same voice as in his comedy, where he is easy to relate to and understand. He s a likable guy, and some of the stories are really funny. However, some of the stories just don t cut it, and I found myself really wondering whether certain events we... Read the full review: No Peter no by bruffyboy |
