Bleach: Volume 1 - Tite Kubo

Premium Review Ichigo the death god (250 words)
by wob1001 - written on 28/04/08 (Useful, 19 readings)

Firstly, do not be put off by manga. It is a style of comic but the term "comic" seems to have childish stereotypes to it. Manag to me is a form of art. Ofcorse with that art you get a story and plenty of action to fuel your mind! If you are new to manga then Bleach is the place to start. It is a mature manga make no mistake about it. This first volume introduces you to some of the characters and ofcorse the main protagonist. Ichigo Kurasaki! - Hes a high school kid, tall, strong and is your general hero to be honest. He likes to save people but also has a troubled past. He is easy to identify with and I quite like the guy. One more thing... He can see dead ...

Premium Review Bleach 16 (400 words)

This is the 16th volume of the hit manga Bleach. Bleach is one of the top sellers in the manga world and is still going strong today. For a full review of bleach read my previous review on volume 14. This review however is purely on volume 16. Up to now this is my favourite volume. It is awesome. Bleach centers around huge battles with larger than life characters. In this volume fans get what they wished for. This volume is the start of the war that is about to take place in the world of Bleach. Comrades square off against each other and some of the most powerful figures in Bleach are going to go 1 on 1 against each other. The main character is still training hard before he ...

Bleach: Volume 15 - Tite Kubo

Premium Review Bleach 15 (252 words)
by wob1001 - written on 03/10/08 (Very useful, 13 readings)
Rating:

The 15th volume from Tite Kubo s epic manga. The story picks up where it left off in the previous volume. The main character "Ichigo" spends most of the volume training to master a new power that will help him in his quest to save his friend Rukia. It does annoy me when the protagonist doesnt really do anything for a hundred or so pages but in Bleach it is different. There are many other battles going on through the story and the other characters are popular enough to maintain an interesting story. Ther is some great animation in this book. The battles seem to fly out of the page being wild and exadurated. Detail is retained however and it is a really ...
