Bleach: Volume 3 - Tite Kubo ... innocent and helping the tortured spirits find peace. Ichigo Kurosaki was a little boy when his mother passed away. One rainy day, Ichigo, whose ability to see the undead is a blessing with a curse, tried to stop a young girl from drowning in a nearby river. His mother, Masaki, ran after them, frantically trying to rescue her son. Then everything went black, and Ichigo awoke only to discover his mother dead and the little girl gone. It's the anniversary of Masaki's death, and the entire Kurosaki clan, along with former Soul Reaper Rukia Kuchiki, head to the cemetary to pay their respects. Sleeping demons rarely ever stay still and pretty soon Ichigo confronts the Grand Fisher, the Hollow that may be resposible for his mother's demise. Bleach is a very popular japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tite Kubo. Bleach tells of the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki after he obtains the Shinigami. At the start of the tale Ichigo is just like any other guy except for the small fact that he can see ghosts. The story begins one evening when a soul reaper Rukia Kuchiki enters Ichigo s bedroom after sensing large amounts of spiritual pressure, reiatsu. However she leaves quickly as a hollow has appeared in Karakura town and as the shinigami watching over the area she must dispose of the hollow. She places a powerful form of kido binding on Ichigo to make him stay behind however she is surprised ...

Firstly, do not be put off by manga. It is a style of comic but the term "comic" seems to have childish stereotypes to it. Manag to me is a form of art. Ofcorse with that art you get a story and plenty of action to fuel your mind! If you are new to manga then Bleach is the place to start. It is a mature manga make no mistake about it. This first volume introduces you to some of the characters and ofcorse the main protagonist. Ichigo Kurasaki! - Hes a high school kid, tall, strong and is your general hero to be honest. He likes to save people but also has a troubled past. He is easy to identify with and I quite like the guy. One more thing... He can see dead ...

This is the 16th volume of the hit manga Bleach. Bleach is one of the top sellers in the manga world and is still going strong today. For a full review of bleach read my previous review on volume 14. This review however is purely on volume 16. Up to now this is my favourite volume. It is awesome. Bleach centers around huge battles with larger than life characters. In this volume fans get what they wished for. This volume is the start of the war that is about to take place in the world of Bleach. Comrades square off against each other and some of the most powerful figures in Bleach are going to go 1 on 1 against each other. The main character is still training hard before he ...

Amazing plot, Original concept Not sure I agree with all of the choices that characters make

Great fun for all ages. Some of the original humour can be lost in the translation

More exciting than the first book, due to popular demand. Pressure from above interferes with Alan Moore's creative vision.
