Blood beast is the fifth book from Darren Shan , master of the young adukts horror! Darren Shan is an irish writer who gained great sucess with his series of books called "the saga of Darren Shan". These books followed the adventures of a character given the same name of Shan and acted like a fictional biography. It centered around the world of vampires. He has now movied on to the "Demonata saga". These books follow 3 different protagonists in the world of demons as they come together through time to save the world. Darren Shan is in my opinion the best or at least one of the best horror writers you can find around. He is able to get you interested fairly quickly and keeps you reading till the end. Darren Shan's blood beast is just as good as all the other books he has written and I would highly recommend it to anyone that likes reading horror books. The story line is as follows: Grubbs Grady has so far escaped the family curse, but when he begins to experience alarming symptoms at the days before full moon, he is scared that the jaws of fate are opening and about to swallow him whole.
