Advantages: addictive, keeps you guessing, entertaining
Disadvantages: none
I was given this book by a friend and it was incrediably difficult to put down once you began reading and constantly left you wanting to read more and more!
The book starts by descibing how a mother dashes into the supermaket and leaves her sleeping baby in the car. When she returns the baby is gone.
The sotry then follows two main, whos stories inter-weave with each other. This sounds a bit confusing but it is easy to follow!
Firstly, 13 years after the babys disapearance, is the story of Erin and her daughter ruby. Erin gets with Robert Knight who is very well off and offers to fund Ruby's private education. Strange things start to occur when Erin flat out refuses to let Ruby attend the school and refuses to hand over the birth certificate so her daughter can enrol in the school.
Next is the story of the mother who's baby was snatched from the supermarket and how she has struggled to cope the last 13 years with the snatching of her baby.
The narrater also tells the story of abandoning her baby, which makes the book even more interesting!
As the story continues, you think you have solved the mystery, when a nother spanner is thrown in the works, leaving you constantly guessing and wanting to read more in order to solve the mystery! In the end the book leaves you thinking WOW!
This is one of the best book i have read in a long time, leaving you constantly wanting more!
Summary: FANTASTIC read that keeps you turning the pages long into the night!"
