The front cover to this book is a nice simple one with a picture of two pregnant women and the title of the book on a lovely purple background that will jump out at you from the shelves of a library or book store. I was brought this book as a gift wholst pregnant with my first child, at thast point i was reading anything i could about babys, labour pregnancy ets so this was just another addition to the colection for me to read my way through which at over 300 pages long should pass away quite a bit of time wholst i had my feet up doing nothing. This review is about pregnancy and birth, so there are bound to be references to pain and gross things! I was pregnant and excited, but scared at the same time. I wanted to read a book about pregnancy and childbirth that was honest and practical. I'd seen this book on the shelf a few times but thought that at £9.99 it was a bit expensive (I've gotten used to paying peanuts for books on ebay or Amazon!), but when I saw it in the sale for 99p I couldn't resist.
