~Non and Davey~ In the small Welsh community where 'Blow on a Dead Man's Embers' is set it seems that nobody has been able to escape the aftermath of World War I. The town sent their men away from the security of home, off to the continent to the trenches of France and Belgium to fight for their country (or more precisely perhaps, the one next door).
